Tree Removal

Residents wishing to remove live trees greater than six inches in diameter and at a height 2 feet from the ground will need written approval. (Part 2, Paragraph 2, Page 9)

Mailboxes

The color and location of any mailboxes must be approved of in writing by the Architectural Review Committee (Part 1, Paragraph 7, Page 5)

Use of Ashbrook Lake

Lake Rules and Regulations 

  1. Fishing on  the DAM or within 200 feet of the  FOUNTAIN is extremely dangerous and prohibited.
  2. Registration fees and any applicable fees to be determined at a later date will be established by the Lake Committee and approved by the Ashbrook Board of Directors.
  3. Anyone who purchases a registered boat must immediately reregister it in their own name and notify the Ashbrook Board of Directors.
  4. Swimming is not recommended in Ashbrook Lake. All persons swimming in the lake do so at their own risk.
  5. Only electric motors are allowed for use on Ashbrook Lake. No gasoline motors or powerboats are allowed on the lake.
  6. Anyone who sells or moves their boat needs to notify the Lake committee immediately so we may update our records. Until we are notified your name will remain in our records and reported to the County Commissioner of Revenue as required by law each spring.
  7. Boats, Boat trailers, campers, recreational vehicles or utility trailers may be maintained on a lot such that they are not generally visible from adjacent properties and streets. Per the Ashbrook Community Association Rules and Regulations said vehicles may be kept as long as they are in an enclosed or screened area of the property or in the rear of the lot screened from adjacent neighbors and streets.
  8. If a grass carp is caught by anyone fishing in Ashbrook Lake it becomes that person's responsibility to remove the fish from the lake and dispose of it. No one may stock the lake with any fish or other wild life without approval from the Board of Directors.
  9. No littering allowed. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law possible.
  10. No floating docks or other structures may be built and moored out past ten feet of water from a lake front homeowner's property.
  11. No hunting or trapping allowed at any time except by authorized personnel. Authorization must come from the Lake committee and be approved by the Board of Directors.
