Annual Meeting Minutes
Ashbrook Community Clubhouse
Call to order:
Board members present: Sue, Catherine, Don and Pat
There is not a quorum of membership as outlined in the by-laws. Eight members present. No business can be conducted (no votes will be taken).
Don gave the Treasurer’s report, which was a review of the April finances.
There was one person submitting a written interest in running for the board: Mr. Megginson.
Wm. R. Megginson, Jr. has been a resident since 2005. He introduced himself and explained his reasons for running for the position and his background.
A ballot will be mailed to members listing only Mr. Megginson as a candidate since there were no nominations from the floor.
A request for volunteers to serve on the committee to count the ballots was made. These members volunteered: Jo and Bill Ruitenberg, Carole Beatty, and Catherine Crump.
A request for a nominating committee yielded the same four people.
